My first blog post!

This is my first blog post, and I'm very excited to start blogging my finds on deals and talk about items I find to be very useful on my road through parenthood! I have two boys, Thomas and Brayden. Thomas is my oldest, he's 2 years old. My youngest Brayden was born on July 9th, and growing fast. I've been with my husband for five years now, and married two. We've been going through struggles with the terrible economy, and my husband is currently unemployeed. I had to learn how to make the little money we get each month from unemployement last. I started using coupons in June 2008, and have been hooked ever since. My family is shocked at the things you can get for next to nothing, and come to me when they are in need of cleaning supplies, razors, shampoo, and anything else you can think of. My best trip yet was to Harris Teeter. I borrowed $5 from my mother (yes we were that broke at one time), and I told her I was going to buy groceries. She thought I was crazy, and asked if I needed more. I told her NO, $5 will do. I came back with $400 in groceries and still had $3! My brother always jokes now he's going to give me $5 every month to do grocery shopping. I hope that as I find deals I can share them with others and help them get the best deal, while also learning from my readers and other bloggers.
